Senior Account Manager
Senior Account Manager
Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Account Manager with a sharp strategic mind, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for building meaningful client relationships. This role is ideal for someone who’s as comfortable leading internal teams as presenting to clients. You’ll work closely with sales, marketing, and creative to deliver brand experiences that are smart, well-executed, and strategically sound.
If you’re highly organized, confident delegating and communicating with both clients and internal teams, and skilled at managing scopes, schedules, and expectations, you could be a great fit. As Senior Account Manager, you’ll partner with our clients, the Account Director, and our Creative team to bring structure, clarity, and forward momentum to every engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Account Success
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand strategic needs and expectations.
- Present and sell creative strategies and concepts; address feedback and ensure client satisfaction.
- Identify revenue opportunities within existing accounts and support the sales cycle from proposal to business review.
- Lead weekly 1:1s with your manager to review personal KPIs and account updates.
- Provide the Account Director with account details required for monthly invoicing reports.
Project & Resource Management
- Manage creative budgets, optimizing resources and meeting financial goals.
- Allocate and manage internal and contractor resources to meet deadlines and expectations.
- Monitor timelines and resourcing; flag risks early and document proactive account alerts.
- Share forward-looking revenue projections with the Account Director.
Sales & Marketing
- Manage the sales funnel (inquiries and project intake).
- Report weekly on owned sales and marketing efforts.
- Draft proposals, estimates, and RFP responses in a timely manner (supporting Tori as needed).
What You Bring
- 5–10+ years of experience in account and/or project management.
- Familiarity with basic accounting and account finances.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and reporting.
- Strong estimation skills and invoicing experience.
- Proactive, collaborative mindset with excellent teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage projects, tasks, people, and timelines concurrently.
- Working knowledge of tools like Figma, Google Workspace, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
Nice to Have
- Experience in creative, marketing, or agency environments.
This role is for someone who can confidently advocate for the client while also protecting the health of the business—balancing strong relationships with a close eye on project margins.
