Friends of Mill Ridge Park
Friends of Mill Ridge Park is a community-based nonprofit dedicated to preserving, enhancing, and activating the park in Southeast Nashville—one of the city’s most diverse and rapidly growing communities. With a mission rooted in accessibility, environmental stewardship, and meaningful community engagement, the organization leads programming and initiatives that connect residents to nature, recreation, and each other. As Mill Ridge Park expanded its offerings, the team needed distinct visual identities that could elevate three new initiatives and strengthen recognition across varied audiences, partners, and stakeholders.
Circa partnered with Friends of Mill Ridge Park to develop a strategic, cohesive family of sub-brands for three emerging initiatives: The Barn, MY Outdoors, and Pear Jam. Each identity needed to stand on its own while aligning with the broader Mill Ridge Park brand, supporting fundraising, outreach, and long-term community engagement. The result is a unified visual system designed to reflect the vibrancy of Southeast Nashville, amplify program visibility, and provide the organization with flexible tools for future growth.
